Training that stubborn dog

I couldn’t have said this better myself so I’m not even going to try. Check out this great article about why you think your reward-based training isn’t working! There have been many times when Pippi just doesn’t listen and now I know what to look for instead of being frustrated because either she’s the worst dog ever or, more likely, because I am a total failure with training. Yes, these are exaggerations but in the heat of the moment when your dog just looks at you and takes off in the other direction towards god-knows-what-horrific-dangers, emotions run high.

Next time, take a chill pill and determine WHY this might be happening. Then start running after your dog screaming wildly and waving your arms around.

(just kidding but you know you do it too sometimes)
